Warranty
If a NETZSCH Racing part is faulty, we will put it right. Here are your rights under Australian law, our own 12-month warranty against defects, and how to claim.
Start a warranty claim
In short
- Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply, whatever this warranty says.
- Pads, discs and calipers are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from delivery, for road use.
- Normal wear is not a defect.
- To claim, email support@netzschracing.com with your order number, photos, the part number and your car.
- If your claim is valid, we pay the shipping.
- This warranty is given by Top Source Pty Ltd, trading as P1Craft. Our address, phone and email are under Who gives this warranty.
Your rights under Australian law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits of our warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under a law in relation to the goods.
If a part has a major failure, you can choose a refund or a replacement. If the failure is not major, we can choose to repair or replace the part, or refund you. If you live outside Australia, you also keep the rights your local consumer law gives you.
What our warranty covers
We, Top Source Pty Ltd, warrant that NETZSCH Racing brake pads, discs and calipers bought from netzschracing.com are free from defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date they are delivered to you, when they are fitted correctly and used on the road.

Examples of defects we cover:
- Friction material coming away from the backing plate.
- Friction material cracking or breaking up in normal road use, within the formula’s rated temperature.
- A part that does not match the published size or drawing for its part number.
- A disc with a casting flaw, or a faulty bell or fixings.
- A caliper that leaks or has a sticking piston after it has been fitted and bled correctly.
Track and race use
Track days and racing put loads on a brake system that we cannot see or control. Using a part on a track within its formula’s rating does not cancel this warranty for defects that were there when it was delivered, such as friction material coming away from its backing plate.
Wear, glazing, heat cracks and other heat damage from track or race use are not defects. Use beyond the formula’s rating is not covered.
What it does not cover
- Normal wear. Pads and discs wear as they work, and how fast depends on your car and your driving.
- Damage from incorrect fitting, skipped bedding in, or fitting a part to a car or caliper it is not listed for.
- Race and track use beyond the formula’s rating, and NH65 or NH70 used on the road.
- Accidents, impacts and damage from road debris.
- Modified parts, for example pads cut or ground, or discs or calipers machined or refinished.
- Faults caused by other parts of the brake system, such as worn discs, old fluid or a sticking caliper we did not supply.
- Pads contaminated with oil, grease or brake fluid.
- Noise, dust or pedal feel that is normal for the formula, as described on its page.
- Costs beyond the part itself, such as labour to remove or refit parts, towing or car hire. This does not limit any compensation you are entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to claim
If a part may be faulty, stop using it. Then email support@netzschracing.com within the warranty period with:
- your order number;
- the part number and formula, for example D1292-NG50;
- your car: make, model and year;
- what happened, and the distance driven on the part;
- clear photos of the part. For pads, show both pads and the disc on that axle.
We reply with the next steps. We may ask you to send the part to us for inspection. Please wait for our return details before you send anything.
If we accept your claim, we repair or replace the part. If a replacement is not available, we refund what you paid for it.
Who pays for shipping
If your claim is valid, we pay the shipping both ways. We send you a prepaid return label or pay back the reasonable cost of sending the part to us, and we pay to send the repaired or replacement part to you.
If we find the part is not faulty, we explain why. We send it back at your cost, or dispose of it if you prefer.
Other costs of making a claim, such as taking photos or removing the part, are yours, unless the Australian Consumer Law entitles you to them.
